🚀 A dive into the value proposition of @CelestineSloths. I've seen many people attacking the value of @CelestineSloths asserting that holders are misguided. Are we?

📌 Let's start by clarifying some things:

🤔 No asset has inherent value as value is a subjective measure agreed upon by groups. This especially applies to forms of money which have no actual value unless people agree or accept that they do. 🤯 🐣

💵 The strong bid depth is irrefutable proof of @CelestineSloths' current value. Any holder can instantly sell their #NFT to the highest bidder, currently 184K $STARS on @StargazeZone. 🔄 #NFA The bid price facilitates instant sales, but #CelestineSloths are easily selling at the floor, currently 200K $STARS. In fact, the only sale at bid price in the last two days was flipped for a quick gain at the floor price within an hour.

- You can disagree and maybe these have no value to you. You're not wrong. If you say they have no value at all either you mean the current value is transient, and you could be correct, or you don't understand the value. 🎭

🏷️ Attributing value to supply and demand seems reductive—almost a cliché. So I'll start by doing that, it's because of supply and demand. Now let's figure out WTF that really means.

So what?
👥 @CelestineSloths are a self-selected community of modularity enthusiasts, some of which have paid thousands of dollars to be included. The community 🔗 has essentially volunteered to test, promote, and otherwise support the ecosystem and the sloth resonates with the community viscerally. 🌐 This translates into tangible support for developers who are pioneering new projects within the modular ecosystem, facilitated by enthusiastic community testing and promotion. Developers often invite this kind of help via #airdrop.

Demand has an inherent network effect you may have heard of. It's called FOMO.

📉 SUPPLY
🔍 Let’s do some quick 'fake math' - about 400k $TIA stakers 🥩 were invited to the presale and if just 2% are sufficiently enthusiastic about modularity, and half of those want an #NFT, that already exceeds the supply of 2,500 #CelestineSloths. This is an incredible oversimplification and people come from there, @StargazeZone enthusiasts, early adopters that want to invest in first movers, people following influencers or crowds as the trends start or they hear about in places like @therollupco's #telegram, and tons of other places.

The initial demand based on any measure clearly exceeded the 2500 available #CelestineSloths. After the initial launch you have net new investors looking at the collection trying to make profit while some early investors looking for gains showed their jeet hands. The rise in price attracts new people, and the expectation of #airdrops, even if you don't know where it comes from, attracts more people and more speculation. It might sound like I'm talking about demand, but the two are inextricably linked. The 90% distribution implies a strong and diverse community that has all but saturated the @CelestineSloths market which is itself a network effect that just results in more people wanting to own a sloth.

Maybe "supply and demand" isn't a cliché, when you understand it. 🤷

🎨 Let's take a minute mention how @zmanian and @sadsadstory1984, the artistic 🏅 mastermind, designed the artwork and put the traits together. To be frank, if the collection was inconsistent and full of obvious AI errors people wouldn't be nearly so interested. This isn't a question of whether you like the artwork or if you think any individual piece is "simple". If you look at the set as a whole you see meticulously and consistently crafted traits and #NFTs. Many of the traits and qualities also nod back to $TIA lore. The artwork itself is also very clean and the utility as a PFP only adds to the equation.

So only up, right?
No. 🔒 Initially, the limit of 2,500 sloths enhanced their desirability because of the scarcity. As adoption grows, this number becomes a cap that hinders broader market involvement unless addressed. 🔄 Without something like #CW404 a maximum of only 2,500 #HODLers is ever possible. Imagine instead of the current 2,254 wallets averaging about $5k each, having 400k wallets holding an average of just $250. The numbers are mostly arbitrary and are intended to just make the math simple to illustrate the point: that's almost a 10x increase in market cap.
