it's like nfts... most enemies don't give a shit... but as soon as reddit made 'collectables' available to their users... their users got crazy about it... you think you hate it, but you just get hooked when you try it out.

Really successful projects are more about the community than the art... and the marketing too.

But IMO, mekas are an example of elite marketing, but it was really all about the marketing and little about the community, and it scared everybody.
