Wondering why gas fees are high right now?
The top ETH gas guzzler is this contract where users make validators run useless/unnecessary code just to increase overall gas usage.
People are literally burning their money to increase gas fees for everyone else 🤦♂️.
1/ @samczsun explained that the attacker exploited the vulnerability in mev-boost-relay to drain MEV bots. After digging into the attack, we have two more findings. First, the attacker used a honeypot tx to lure MEV bots. Second, the honeypot tx has a self-protected mechanism.
Yesterday two crypto giants dropped the biggest announcement in a while:
Coinbase is building an Ethereum L2 and Optimism goes superchain🔥
Here's why it matters and its far-reaching impact on the broader crypto ecosystem:
To understand the layout of the EVM stack, the points below are the main aspects to learn 🧵
1. Word size = 256 bits
2. Stack storage limit = 1024 values
3. Only the top 16 values are available for access.
Now that the ETH merge has happened, it's important that you learn the new terms and tooling around Proof of Stake. These concepts will help you navigate this new era of the Ethereum network.
Here's a quick and easy primer to get you started 🧵:
1/ Today, OFAC published FAQs related to Tornado Cash sanctions: https://t.co/WsGPLX8tUF
We’re glad that OFAC has heard our concerns & appreciate their effort to clarify these important issues. Yet, the FAQs don’t fully address the collateral damage caused by the designation. 🧵
Do miners execute consensus-level attack against Ethereum (or other major tokens)❓🤔
The answer is *yes*❗🤯

Not sure what @moonpay's overall reputation is, but their @hypermint product has a surprisingly lackluster contract. I reviewed their contract earlier and was pretty surprised by how many issues there are in it.
Here are ways it should be improved:
7 days ago user @cousteau8383pop had two goblins stolen through a fake, malicious project website that leveraged https://t.co/ihLPkXVTlA in order to seem legitimate. Today, they were stolen again. This thread is on `setApprovalForAll`, what it means, and how not to get rekt 1/🧵
Found a bug with @TheGoda_io x @ninachanel SuperCoolWorld contract that was deployed yesterday: https://t.co/otCV7cOr3l. This is actually a somewhat common issue I've seen with recent ERC721A contracts, so let's jump in:
🧵:
There seems to be an MEV exploit on @opensea. Today, a bot stole 0.24375 ETH that should have gone from Aiko to @pearlindt when she accepted Aiko's bid.
We’re releasing the Ethereum Virtual Machine (EVM) sidechain alpha! (Now on testnet.)
Build your Solidity-based applications on #Cardano - a decentralized, permissionless, sustainable blockchain.
The future is interoperable.
two years ago, i thought for sure we’d see some PoW Ethereum forks, even though lots of state would break
but what i failed to account for is just how badly miners blew it in trying to push ProgPoW when & how they did
they really burned their hand too early with that debacle
Anon will not understand this, but the more competitors #Ethereum has, the harder it becomes for any of them to build the level of network effects needed to catch up with ETH.
All of these networks are fragmenting the user/developer/investor base, and Metcalfe's law is a bitch.
