🚨 Pune IT Sector Case 🚨 Employment bonds & female employee paid 3.5 lakhs to company .
A female fresher worked for 1 year and was allegedly marked as an “underperformer”, pressured so much that she resigned, and then made to pay ₹3.5 lakh to her employer to obtain her documents due to a 2-year employment bond.
Should freshers be forced to pay such huge amounts? Was the training cost really ₹3.5 lakh? Are employment bonds being used fairly in the IT sector?
We have advised the employee and her parents to approach the Labour Department and seek legal remedies.
Time for a larger discussion on fairness, transparency, and employee rights in the IT industry.
