@ngee_danielle This is the balance I wish more people heard. Faith and medicine were never meant to compete. Scripture honors the physician, and stewardship of the body we were given includes seeking good care. Prayer and treatment can walk hand in hand.
Infertility is a diagnosis.
It is not an identity.
It does not make a woman less of a woman.
It does not make a man less of a man.
People are more than their reproductive outcomes.

They said health literacy was just “social media scrolling,” but today, the global community is now paying attention.
Guys, I am incredibly honored to announce that I have been nominated for the 2026 JCI Ten Outstanding Young Persons of Nigeria award in Medical Innovation!
This nomination isn’t just about me; it is a validation for every single one of us who believes that access to clear, engaging, and accurate health information is a fundamental right.
We are changing how Africa engages with medicine and reshapes their thinking and health behaviors, one piece of content at a time.
But to bring this home, I need your help. The voting portal is officially open.
Click the link below or in my bio, select 'Medical Innovation,' and cast your vote for Olawale Ogunlana.
Let’s show them the power of our community. Kindly vote now, and let's scale this impact together!
Veekee James seems to enjoy the social media spotlight a lot, and I understand that it's part of her brand and business. However, I feel unveiling her baby's face now is a bit too soon. Personally, I would have preferred waiting until the baby was around 6 months old, maybe even making it part of a 6-month milestone celebration.
Doing it on her own birthday feels a little too calculated for attention, in my opinion.
Well said. One non-fertility piece that gets missed: years of anovulation leave the endometrium exposed to estrogen without progesterone, which raises hyperplasia and endometrial cancer risk. And the insulin resistance shows up in lean patients too, not just those with higher BMI.
We’ve spent so much time talking about PMOS and babies that we’ve forgotten about the woman living with it.
PMOS affects metabolism, insulin resistance, mental health, cardiovascular health, inflammation, skin, hair, and quality of life.
Not every woman with PMOS/PCOS will struggle to conceive…
Not every woman with PMOS/PCOS wants children right away..
Women deserve healthcare conversations bigger than fertility.

Some people only have one picture of their baby.
A pregnancy test.
Pregnancy loss is often measured by how many weeks a pregnancy lasted, but grief doesn’t work that way.
A chemical pregnancy can hurt.
A miscarriage can hurt.
A failed IVF cycle can hurt.
A failed IUI cycle can hurt.
One thing I wish we’d stop saying is:
“At least it was early.”
Loss is loss.
As we mark #FertilityConversationsWeek, let’s remember that compassion should be part of fertility care too.
How do you think we can better support people experiencing fertility-related loss?

Can I still eat bread if I have diabetes, PCOS, or PMOS? 🍞
Absolutely! Bread is not the enemy.
The key is choosing the right type, watching portions, and pairing it with protein, healthy fats, and vegetables to help manage blood sugar levels and keep you fuller for longer.
You don't need to fear food—you need the right nutrition strategy.
