After almost three decades in prison, he has finally regained his freedom, cleared of the conviction that stole years from his life.
On his forehead is what seems to be the mark of countless sujūd, a testament to worshipping Allah in a place built to break the human spirit.
This is democracy. He has resigned. We have two more demands. We won't go like this.
Dharmendra Pradhan has resigned. But the families of the children who committed suicide should receive compensation of one crore rupees. They should get it.
One crore rupees compensation to all those families.
And second, these police goons who acted on the 20th.
Action must be taken against the police officers for that.
Remember, do not mess with cockroach

Few weeks back, a film teaser released with the opening line in my voice.
I wish to put on record that I am not part of the film in any capacity.
I was asked to dub a line without any reference a few months back. I did that in good faith without asking for more as I knew the makers personally.
As soon as the teaser was released and I saw the context in which it was (mis)used, I asked the filmmakers to remove my voice from the teaser as I have nothing to do with the film.
After my strong objection, the makers removed my voice from the teaser fifteen days ago.
Though this will clarify my position as an artist who would never be a part of any such project, our entire attention should be on the present situation of the country where our young relentless students are on the streets putting up a brave fight. Kudos to their inspiring spirit. JAI HIND, JAI SAMVIDHAN.
Today marks Nakba Day, an annual day of remembrance to commemorate the expulsion of more than 700,000 Palestinians between 1947 and 1949 during the creation of the State of Israel and the year that followed.
Inea is a New Yorker and a Nakba survivor. She shared her story with us — one of home, tradition and memory over generations.
@ShawnaNonna@kaylee_ashlynn@peta As someone watching from the outside, this is wild to see from people claiming Christian values. You can oppose a practice or argue animal welfare without mocking a whole faith, dehumanizing Muslims, or telling people to “go back.” That’s not morality — it’s bigotry.
@Ostrov_A If jews had to give a minute of silence for every Christian they slaughtered, they’d have to shut the fuck up forever and we would all live in peace.
