The United States is taking decisive action in response to the atrocities and violence against Christians in Nigeria and around the world. The @StateDept will restrict U.S. visas for those who knowingly direct, authorize, fund, support, or carry out violations of religious freedom. This visa policy applies to Nigeria and other governments or individuals that persecute people for their religious beliefs.

URGENT APPEAL @anuradisanayake Protecting International Buddhist Delegation-
Monk Thich Minh Tue and fellow Vietnamese Dhutanga monks are facing difficulty with their pilgrimage on foot in Sri Lanka because of allegations by Vietnam's state-controlled Vietnamese Buddhist Sangha (VBS). The Vietnamese Dhutanga monks is are being falsely accused of being fake monks hired by human traffickers to scam donors. 
Sri Lankan government authorities should protect these Dhutanga monks from transnational repression and facilitate their pilgrimage.
