The journey through cancer and treatment is like embarking on a long road trip. Early intervention is comparable to starting with a full tank of gas and a well-maintained car. When you begin with proper nutrition, your body is better prepared to handle the challenges ahead, minimizing the risk of muscle loss slowing you down. Continuing intervention, on the other hand, is like making regular stops to refuel, check the tires, and ensure the car remains in good condition. Just as you would not drive cross-country without necessary pit stops, your body requires ongoing nutritional support to maintain strength and prevent breakdowns, keeping you on track toward recovery.
