@DavidAubuchon @SupJaniceHahn@CENLASD@MyLynwoodca How many mentally ill teens sold their fathers’ firearms, to avoid committing school massacres? These events are cool for old widows, who simply worry about their grandkids accidentally handling Grandpa’s old hunting rifles. Beyond that, they are a waste of resources.
@RyanDSmithEdD The “Mindest” era embraced failure, and even recognized it as a part of long-term winning. Imagine giving educators at all levels, the trust and freedom needed to make big plays, by going backwards? I lost time experimenting with instructional technology, but it totally paid off!
@MarcoAVillegas2 The hardest part is finding somebody willing and qualified to run it. Being an ROTC coordinator is a tough gig. It’s an awesome opportunity, if the right folks are in place.
@MarcoAVillegas2 I don’t sweat the small things anymore. More importantly, the pandemic reminded me that my high school students are still just big kids. Although some of them might be larger than myself, their brains are far from being fully developed. Lastly, all victories count!
It’s always nice to have Dr. Lopez swing by NHS Race Team Headquarters, to update him on our latest and greatest projects. Thank you for all of your support! @nlmusd_supt@nlmusd@pepsi@SkillsUSA
@DrClayCook Whenever I’m dealing with a challenging student, I like to ask them: “What do you need to make this work?” I end the conversation with: “I need you succeed!”, with a fist-bump as I nod my head up and down. I was extremely difficult as a child/ student, so I get it.
