This makes so much sense, my daughter had leg/hip pain and numbness for years and it was dismissed and then told it was just unexplained pain! Endometriosis excised December 2021 and guess what…pain / numbness gone! 💛

@theendoinformer @NHSGGC My daughter had laparoscopy by general gynaecologist- no endo found. Same operation 3yrs later with excision surgeon and endo excised from pelvic wall and pouch of Douglas. Horrendous to think women aren’t able to access excision surgery till stage 4 💔💛

What price pts pain? Medications do not treat or stop progression. Ablation is a failed technique. All but Stage IV are being denied access to excision when we are constantly told Endo care is expanding and pts pain matters. Scottish pts are being betrayed. #endometriosis
