[From Testing to Targeted Treatments (FT3) @FT3Program]

💡 In our community, a belief that keeps us together is that the future of healthcare is personalized, as well as the process of shared decision-making with patients.

This approach requires empowered HCPs who can confidently communicate complex biomarker testing (cBT) results to patients.

The challenge is that the complexities of comprehensive biomarker testing (cBT) demand advanced genomics knowledge and effective communication skills from HCPs.

In this context, medical societies can significantly impact patient care by:

✔Advocating for educational programs that equip HCPs with the knowledge and confidence to navigate cBT and its implications.
✔Integrating shared decision-making models into clinical practice, empowering patients to actively participate in treatment choices based on their cBT results.
