this documentary just feels like another tactic from belift to make people stop asking the serious and important questions.

don’t get me wrong. i’m sure the documentary is gonna be nice and very very emotional for us as well. but even if it explains why he left (which i honestly don’t think it will), that still doesn’t change how messily everything has been handled.

it still doesn’t answer questions like: why can’t they acknowledge each other’s presence and hard work? why can’t they even say each other’s names? where is the support those letters talked about? why has everything felt so distant and restricted for months?

all of those questions would still remain unanswered.

if belift really wants people to “move on,” then why couldn’t they stop being so shady about everything from the beginning?

personally, nothing that has happened convinces me that this was entirely his decision. if anything, all of this has only shown how badly belift handled everything. maybe it wouldn’t have hurt this much, or been this hard to “move on”, if we had at least been given a proper goodbye.
