@gsuafh1 week 9. in some tragic way all the stars of rwac all passed away tragically in the prime of the career. i immediately thought of river phoenix, heath ledger, lee thompson young. it's like they all passed away or chose to end their lives all too soon.

@tedfriedman for the car gang, i immediately thought of grease and danny's croonies. is there a genre named for these type of movies....car gangs, teenager drag car races? the bullying of the non-cool kid?

i looked and maybe i'm not thinking of the write word of phrasing.

at the police station. what i didn't understand was why did he take the compact other than did he think he was going to see her again? the importance of this film was that it a gave an audience for teenagers to identify with- like they were seen and they mattered.
