This ain't it. Brad himself talked about how Tatum came in on Saturday, didn't look or feel right so they shut him down
Everyone saw Tatum grabbing his calf in Game 6, I can't imagine the players all thought he was completely fine
“Of course it makes sense for Milwaukee. Of course the Bucks are monitoring this very closely and would be getting ready to call Boston…”
Brian Windhorst on a potential Giannis for Jaylen Brown trade. 👀
This coming from T-Mac is alarming. Honestly quite pathetic and embarrassing if true. The organization gave him a max, gave him historic 2nd-option usage despite his impact never really matching the role, and then handed him an entire season without his co-star where he had the 2nd highest USG% in the league while being, at best, maybe a top 20 player. Most teams would never bend that far for someone of that caliber.
Kyrie got crucified in Boston for vague comments, shots at the media, and acting disconnected from the team. Jaylen does the same routine at almost 30 and people act like he’s some misunderstood martyr. The standards magically change depending on who people like more.
And Boston has spent years insulating him from criticism too. Same issues keep popping up every postseason, TOV’s, stagnant offense, hero ball, inconsistent off-ball awareness, yet the organization still built a title team around him and protected him from most of the blame when they came up short. He would get all of the glory when things went good and barely any blame when things went bad. Acting like the franchise failed him after all that is ridiculous and you’re blind to still be defending this in anyways, it’s time.
“We give the benefit to those who try to manipulate the game into their advantage. I just don't think it’s basketball. Like let's just play basketball. All the foul baiting, I think it’s whatever for me.”

Jaylen Brown spoke highly of Jayson Tatum and said they’ve already talked ahead of tonight’s game:
“Him even wanting to come back was an unselfish act, putting…his body on the line in order for us to accomplish something great.”
