One Shining Moment was written by Ann Arbor resident Michael Barrett. It was first played in 1989 when Michigan last won the title. 37 years later, his song ends with Michigan celebrating once more.
Michigan is the first D1 school ever to win multiple National Championships in Football (1948, 1997, 2023), Baseball (1953, 1962), and Men’s Basketball (1989, 2026).
Michigan casting aside one of the great KenPom teams EVER like it’s a regional opening round game against a 16 seed. Cherish these moments, because they’re fleeting. You don’t appreciate what you’re watching until it’s in the past.
“Please don’t ever judge me for wins and losses that’s not who I am as a coach.
Relationships- you want it for them.”
Championships change careers.
Relationships change lives.
Athletes. Coaches.
Don’t just chase wins. Change people.
That’s the real legacy.

This is genuinely one of the most insane things I’ve ever seen in baseball. Robbing a homerun is hard and rare enough. Robbing two in a game is the record. But three?? One in a million chance. Take a bow, Jo Addell. #RepTheHalo
