Real talk:
The Dodgers shouldn’t have the structural exception the league gave them back in 2012, but good luck unraveling it since it runs through 2039.
Like any other legal/binding agreement, what can the league and its lawyers offer to the Dodgers to get them to give it up?
Bash: "Do you accept some responsibility for this measles outbreak?"
RFK: "Absolutely not…Did I cause those measles outbreaks?"
Bash: "You're the most famous vaccine skeptic on the planet."
RFK: "The reason we're having a measles outbreak is because of the COVID lockdowns."
Two top Republicans, both originally pro-Trump, confirm the US attacked Spain using Morocco as a proxy.
US paid Morocco at least $40M two weeks before the Ceuta breach. People were reportedly lured into participating through social media, while the breach was amplified as a "migrant invasion" online by US, Israeli and Russian disinformation and disruption networks, and compromised media networks and politicians on right wing legacy media.
Dodgers have exclusive revenue deals with the league as well as the best valued and highest profitable TV deal in the league as well as the largest and most expansive local marketing deals. They also spend more than the bottom 15 teams MAKE in a year. So no they aren’t.
Hard to even process -- a president selling market-moving information to banks and wealthy investors in advance of everyone else, and personally pocketing hundreds of millions of dollars from it. This alone is more worthy of impeachment than 100 Watergate cover-ups.
I understand Max Miller's ex-wife has accused him of pouring boiling water on her, holding a gun to her head, beating her, and breaking their 2-year-old daughter's collarbone
On the same day his ex-wife filed a restraining order, the accused domestic abuser is amplifying the McCarthyite ravings of Zionist predator Laura Groomer to imply I'm the criminal for reporting from Iran
The irony is impossible to overstate
Conman Vivek Ramaswamy couldn’t prevent his out of touch, entitled, billionaire attitude from coming out last night. His mask came off.
This is who he really is, Ohio. The kind of guy who tells Ohioans to quit “whining” about data centers.
Ramaswamy keeps justifying defunding schools by telling Ohioans that Ohio schools don’t have standards.
It’s a bald-faced lie.
There are pages and pages of standards. For every subject at every grade level.
Whether it’s eliminating colleges or this lie, this guy will screw over everyday Ohioans to help himself and his cronies.
Let me get this straight. COVID was a hoax, but Trump deserves credit for Operation Warp Speed. The vaccine is poison, but Trump gets it. You should take ivermectin for a hoax. More than a million Americans died, but somehow it’s all Dr. Fauci’s fault.
Trump appointed Fauci.
Trump locked down the country.
Trump spearheaded the vaccine.
Trump was President while ~400K died.
So, naturally, in the mind of MAGA, all of this is Fauci's fault.
It's been four years since the Supreme Court's Dobbs decision opened the door to state abortion bans.
Now, a new study finds those bans are hurting women who aren't seeking abortions at all. Researchers found delays in miscarriage treatment increase the risk to a woman’s health and fertility and prolong the grief of a lost pregnancy.
@SarahVarney4 has more.
The overwhelming right wing sentiment is that COVID was an engineered bioweapon that was also harmless. Trump overreacted to it by shutting down the country, then engineered a drive to create a vaccine that was the real bioweapon that killed millions, and it's Joe Biden's fault.
The Bureau of Land Management just approved an AI data center on public land.
Never been done before.
Not through a real environmental review either. They dug up an old solar farm's approval from 2023 and decided it counted for a completely different project. No new review. No public comment period. No public say at all.
The site sits on desert tortoise habitat outside Boulder City, Nevada, three miles from residents' homes.
The company behind it is Skylar Capital Management, a Texas hedge fund.
Its water will come from the Colorado River Basin.
The same river that gives nearly 40 million people across seven states their drinking water.
The same river where farmers and ranchers use almost 80 percent of the supply, and it's already so short that farmers this year left fields unplanted and ranchers are shrinking their cattle herds just to survive the season.
The same river so overdrawn that seven states have spent months failing to agree on how to split what's left, and this week, the federal government takes that decision out of their hands entirely.
The same river where Navajo, Hopi, and Paiute nations have waited 118 years for water they were legally promised back in 1908, while states actively fight to block them from getting it.
Now a hedge fund wants a straw in that river too, for a server farm.
Who decided an AI data farm needs water more than the 40 million people who depend on the Colorado River? 💧
