@kinson88@iainpayten@StanSportRugby@wwos Why when watching SRP do you see a huge difference in 2 areas of the game - NZ ball carriers getting over the advantage line significantly more than our Aussie players and the kiwis being far more aggressive at blasting/cleaning out defenders at the attacking breakdown?
@gravyonsports@SuperRugby@AllBlacks Hard to disagree
A 66-12 pounding for 1st vs 6 in a qualifying round says it all.
I’m hard core Aussie fan but it’s totally disengaging when your local Team is not competitive.
@kinson88@iainpayten@StanSportRugby Further to Payto’s article about Waratahs underperformance. If he was to put his finger on one or two things why only 30% of the time the Tahs have made the finals since 2013, what would they be?
@TJ_Rugby@kinson88@iainpayten@StanSportRugby Good question. Seriously special player. If he goes to 15’s you know you have…
Tackle buster
Speed
Massive engine
Incredible finisher
Can pass 25m off both sides
@CudmoreJock Got to stop blaming and be negative but I attribute not using him to too narrow a game plan by McKellar and Crichton - the ball often ended with him in contact or Su used as a decoy. You can see what happens when he gets the ball early, Bowen has been helping the situation.
@brumby_fan@ChristypDoran Jock Campbell has been phenomenal. If the basis of Wallabies selection is strong super form then it’s impossible to not pick him. He’s as ready as anyone to tackle Ireland.
@codenrl What a neanderthol. Dead set how long has it taken for the NRL to get serious about protecting the head. The commentators played in an era where anything goes and continue to ignore the early on-set dementia and brain issues.
@goldust02@martindevlinnz@thepaulwilliams@SuperRugby Agree. Aussie Teams still need to improve so when they travel to NZ, they are a decent chance. Aust fans need consistent winning or challenging plus an entertaining product that competes against the NRL. Rugby not being on FTA and League being fast and easy to watch is tough
@goldust02@martindevlinnz@thepaulwilliams@SuperRugby Was best last year when the Aussie Teams were causing more jeopardy. The day you generally don’t know who will win between the Force and Hurricanes will define its moves away from being too predictable.
@scrumming_ten@mward1246@SMHsport Typical South African. I’m Australian and I’d comfortably put $5k on the Hurricanes to beat the best of the Top 14 by 20 points. 35 points in dry conditions.
