Rice delphacid now found north of I-40 in Arkansas. Small numbers but clearly on the move. Picture is not from that area - just a good example of adults and nymphs. Be on the lookout if you have green rice. Let us know if you find them.

Ran a few locations through the NC State thrips predictor this morning. The model indicates that thrips pressure will be greater in Leachville, AR than last year and early May planted cotton wont get hit as hard as cotton planted in middle to late May.
