I went to bed last night with the news of 3 people being shot & 1 person killed. I am waking up to the news of 6 more people being shot overnight with 2 more people being killed. Sadly Indianapolis has become a war zone & one of the most violent city's in America.

Encourage our hearts to GET REAL so we can GET IT RIGHT WITH YOU! Help us see that it's not really working on it until we get it right...but it's working on it until WE CAN'T GET IT WRONG! James 4:17- "So whoever knows THE RIGHT THING to do and fails to do it, for him it is sin"

FATHER, we seek You in behalf of our families as Your SERVANT JOB DID! We bring them before You asking for strength, comfort, and protection. We ask that You GUIDE THEIR STEPS. Job 1:5 says, "He would get up EARLY IN THE MORNING and sacrifice burnt offerings for EACH OF THEM.

GIVE US A PURE HEART! Psalm 51:10, "Create in me A PURE HEART, oh, God, and renew YOUR RIGHT SPIRIT within me". Give us A PURE HEART free of self-absorption that we might know AND LOVE CHRIST in every person we meet.

FATHER, we pray for the weary, WE pray for BREAKTHROUGH-I Timothy 2:1, "HERE ARE MY DIRECTIONS: Pray MUCH for others; PLEAD for God's MERCY upon them; GIVE THANKS for all He is GOING TO DO for them". We ask for Your Holy Spirit to minister comfort. Please fill each one with hope

THE SMALLEST STEP in the right direction ends up being the BIGGEST STEP of our lives. Proverbs 16:9 says, "The heart of man plans his ways, but the Lord ESTABLISHES HIS STEPS". FATHER, No matter how many STEPS we may have taken from You...it still only takes ONE STEP TO GET BACK!

FATHER, we thank you so much for Your INVESTMENT of Your Spirit in us..."HOLY SPIRIT"! John 14:26 says, "But the Helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, he will teach you all things and bring to your remembrance all that I have said to you".

Ephesians 2:10 says, "God has made us what we are. In Christ Jesus, God made us new people so that we would spend our lives DOING THE GOOD THINGS he had already planned FOR US TO DO". FATHER, help us to get to the really good stuff in life..."CHANGING LIVES FOR THE BETTER"

FATHER be our "WALKING PARTNER". The MORE YOU WALK WITH US, the harder it is to SCRAPE OUR KNEES. John 8:12, “I am the light of the world. If you follow me, you won't HAVE TO WALK IN DARKNESS, because you will have the light THAT LEADS TO LIFE".

FATHER, enable our souls to HUNGER FOR PRAYER -When our day starts WITH A PRAYER AND ENDS WITH PRAYER-everything in between seems to ALWAYS WORK OUT! Philippians 4:6, Don't worry about anything; instead, PRAY ABOUT EVERYTHING; tell God your needs, and don't forget to THANK HIM”

FATHER-HELP US-There's no other name we can run to! WE PRAY THAT YOU'RE STILL HERE FOR US! HELP US" in our weaknesses..We are sick of crying, tired of trying-PLEASE...GOD "HELP US"! Psalm 17:6, "Why am I praying like this? Because I know You will answer me, O God!

FATHER, cause us to see that we cannot solve OUR PROBLEMS with the same thinking we used when we CREATED THEM! Remind us that You dealt with mankind's FIRST PROBLEM... Psalms 50:15 says, "And call upon me in the DAY OF TROUBLE: I will deliver thee, and thou shall glorify Me"

Matthew 7:23 says, "But I will reply, I NEVER KNEW YOU. GET AWAY FROM ME, YOU WHO BREAK GOD'S LAWS". FATHER, you have called many to proclaim Your Word and to prepare the way of Your Son's soon return. Help us believers that are sold out for You to not become discouraged.

Proverbs 8:35 says, "For whoever finds me finds life and RECEIVES FAVOR from the Lord". FATHER, when we KNOW we have YOUR FAVOR...we'll pray bold prayers, dream big dreams, and we'll expect BIG THINGS TO HAPPEN!

FATHER, we pray that You will Help us to never PUT PEOPLE DOWN unless it's on our prayer list. Proverbs 11:12, "He who DESPISES his neighbor lacks sense, but a man of understanding keeps silent". We can miss the message because we are too busy looking for mistakes.

FATHER You "INVESTED" in us to be CHANGE AGENTS! Help us see that we can CHANGE THE WORLD and make it a BETTER PLACE! 2 Corinthians 5:20 says, "So we have been sent to SPEAK FOR CHRIST. FATHER, YOUR VOICE has been echoing within saying...IT'S NOW YOUR TURN TO CHANGE THE WORLD.
