@MendezMovieRPT Despite her winning the Oscar for the screenplay and not even getting nominated in director, I think CODA (a movie I liked a lot) is a much more impressively directed film than written one, so the fact that she has a co-writer on this one has me even more intrigued

@sneky_quetzal I guarantee Navarette is in a higher percentage of Obsession than Gladstone was in Killers. Second leads have won best actress many times, Olivia Colman, Brie Larson, Jennifer Lawrence, Kate Winslet, and Reese Witherspoon just being some recent examples.

@ScottDMenzel I think she’s the leading lady of the movie and should be campaigned in lead. But in this case I also don’t think supporting is any easier, if she doesn’t get in it would be for genre bias, not lack of material. She had enough to do to compete as a lead actress.
