Banks never spent a day in the Minor Leagues and went on to win 2 MVP awards and hit 512 home runs over 19 seasons with the Cubs.

Breaking: After 14 seasons, Anthony Rizzo is retiring from Major League Baseball, the Cubs announced.
Rizzo, who won a World Series with Chicago in 2016, is retiring as a Cub and will be honored this Saturday at Wrigley Field.
