There are a bunch of people replying with “what if guys said they were cinephiles but only watched porn?” or somehow otherwise devaluing reading romantasy and…dang y’all are soft prudes. Is it a self esteem issue? Do you hope it'll make you feel better to try to knock others down based on some headline you read about ACOTAR 2 years ago?

I’ve read around 20+ “romantasy” books now and it’s clear that none of these people have read a page. Some of the books definitely do have explicit sex scenes, a lot don’t have any at all. Comparing them to porn is like saying Heated Rivalry is watching sports. Although HR has more hockey than Fourth Wing has spice.

But whatever, who even cares anyway? There's definitely pure smut out there that doesn't have some of the best fantasy storytelling and world building being written today and who tf cares if that's what women want to read? Oh, it's just cus any time something mildly positive about women comes out a whole bunch of dudes (and other women for some reason) feel the need to purity test it? Right, gotcha. stfu

Also, for what's it worth, no one can be exploited in a work of fiction writing. So even if it were pure smut, calling it "pornography" shows you don't actually know what is/can be bad about that industry, at least before OF and women owning their own careers.

The reason why RAM has become four times more expensive is that a huge amount of RAM that has not yet been produced was purchased with non-existent money to be installed in GPUs that also have not yet been produced, in order to place them in data centers that have not yet been built, powered by infrastructure that may never appear, to satisfy demand that does not actually exist and to obtain profit that is mathematically impossible.
