@NASAAdmin@johnkrausphotos@rookisaacman you really are the greatest thing that has happened to the future of space exploration for a time such as this.
And we are seriously blessed beyond measure to have you at the helm. ๐ซก๐บ๐ธ๐
@HenrikKristia16@Starlink Okay, I see the confusion: you think I mean a mechanical gyro. Thatโs on me for not explaining.
Itโs a gyro-stabilized wide-angle (360 camera with digital/electronic image stabilization (EIS).
My point was that the gyro (electronic in this case) is amazing!!
@BearGrylls In Engineering we call this Occamโs Razor! I try to design my life around thisโฆ but itโs odd how easy it is to โover-engineerโ everything.
@astro_anil There is something sacred about that place and the work you and the teams are doing. Thank you for sharing part of this journey with us!
And thank you for your hunger and courage for adventure and for learning more for the good of all mankind!
Everyone has a place in Space.
Col. Eric Zarybnisky explained last week on the Spacepower Podcast space needs more than engineers, it needs artists, designers, and creative thinkers.
Showing students there's a place for them in the future of American spacepower.
Iโm reminded of that scene from โThe Incrediblesโ
Bob (Mr. Incredible): Well, what are you waiting for?
Little Boy on Tricycle:
I donโt know. Something amazing, I guess.
Bob: [sighs] Me too, kid.
Iโve felt like that about space exploration for some time.
Finally, we have seen something INCREDIBLE! ๐
At the Lunar Surface Innovation Consortium meeting this afternoon, where people who have spent the last six years studying the infrastructure needed for a lunar base are having their moment.
@jeff_foust@AsteroidEnergy It was an incredible first day and so honored to be here among so many innovatorsโฆ not just theory, but action!
And excited to learn more and contribute in any way we can with @crescentidetech.
Have followed you for years and would love to meet you tomorrow!
