Brilliant gambling from York!
A man named Robert Henderson, who has been attending the Ebor for 28 years, won yesterday’s Placepot and collected £20k cash
from a £4 bet!
He also placed an identical £4 bet online that returned another £20,315.
To top it all off, he also won the Quadpot (a placed horse in races 3, 4, 5 and 6), which paid £1,177!
He collected £41,807 from his £10 in stakes and was paid out instantly.
@RexChapman If she still ends up with a surgery full of vaccinated people who are carrying the virus isn't she still exposing her other patients and staff to roughly the same risk?
@Keir_Starmer It's so childish calling it the "Johnson Variant" when it's flowing though the whole world. Not becoming of someone who wants to be held up as serious and forensic.
No issue with the Labour Party not supporting the easing but at least tell us when you would support them instead
@Rachel_Mantell@JohnAmaechi This is the problem with Twitter. Why do you think I'm digging? I'm not even disagreeing with you that the response is wrong!
@Rachel_Mantell@JohnAmaechi It's not hard to understand, mainly because nobody has said that it's the correct response or that its their job. The response is wrong - especially the one who whacks the kid - but the point was its not an example of tribal football hooligans acting with impunity.
@JohnAmaechi Some of the England fans were disgraceful yesterday but context is needed with this clip. It's not hooliganism against rival fans, they're trying to stop people without tickets breaking into the ground.
@StanCollymore I care but it feels like the boy who cried wolf. If the media focused on occasions where it was effectual and clear it would make a difference but it feels like they're trying to throw a lot of mud and hoping it sticks.
@AndyhHolt I don't disagree but that's a different discussion. The scheme Gove is benefitting from is to do with close contacts rather than travel and its been relatively well communicated.
@mrjamesob You're right about the tribal nature of society however the EU have been painted as the virtuous side of the discussion but within a month have behaved in the opposite way. It's not for you to defend, it's an example of why people had a -ve view of the EU and want it to be seen.
@havingfun73@JasonFarrellSky No but that's not what's happened across the board is it? Even with the reduced grading we've had results which were better than last year. If they had just given out the "teachers grades" the results would have been record breaking, making comparison between years impossible.
@effjayem @JasonFarrellSky I take both points on board but if a school had previously had 50-60% A-C over the past 5-10 years but had now been looking to achieve 70-80% for example that would have also looked erroneous and unfair on kids from previous years. It was never going to be perfect sadly.
