@BretDevereaux 100% I would pay good money for such a game. As others said in replies to this tweet, Rebellion was ahead of its time, and trapped in an era where there was limited continuing support or post-release patching. If they did it again today, it could be great. Rebellion II in 2028!
@BretDevereaux I have thoroughly enjoyed reading your blog. In a few of your series (Battle of Helm’s Deep VIII, This. Isn’t. Sparta. VII) you discuss military thinking (or lack thereof). Curious if you’d consider a post on this topic in depth, in layers, like ogres and onions.
Do you ever get to the point where you know you have a browser tab of X open somewhere, but you think “screw it, I’m opening X again in a new tab right here” b/c the old tab is to difficult to find? Bonus points if you know you have 2+ tabs of X open somewhere...
