๐บ๐ฆ Just a guy, living my life, trying to make the world a better place. I came back to Twitter because I am a libertarian, and I value freedom of speech.
@neeratanden Spirit was already a financial mess when they tried to merge with JetBlue. They couldnโt secure a federal bailout or reach an agreement with creditors. Fuel prices didnโt help. Still, if the merger had been allowed, the combined airline would still be 1/2 the size of United.
@neeratanden Fuel is only 20-30% of the cost of a commercial flight. As has been said elsewhere, fuel prices increasing 60% certainly didnโt help, but they werenโt what broke the back of Spirit Airlines.
@YourAnonNews Isnโt freedom of speech great? I bet you enjoyed sharing your opinion, as you should. Imagine, for a moment, someone silencing you because they disagree with your opinion.
@DefiantLs The driver of the car had the right to presume that other motorists were operating their vehicles reasonably close to the rules of the road. By operating his motorcycle substantially above the speed limit, the rider assumes fault for the crash.
Clearly the Federal Aviation Administration needs to reevaluate their priorities. This appears political in nature. Slowing down American innovation is not a good look for government. Let Starship fly!
@DaveBlass I applaud this idea. SpaceX is pushing technology forward, this would be a great use of their talents. For those of you that hate Elon; hey, your choice, but heโs employing engineers and pushing technology forward. We all benefit from where heโs taking us.
