if you identify as a lesbian but in the past you were with men because you were exploring and discovering yourself, you're completely valid. if you, right now, scream into the wind you're a lesbian and use the lesbian label but deliberately sleep with men, you are NOT a lesbian.

Non-lesbians are repeatedly allowed to stretch the boundaries of the lesbian label, yet when lesbians object, it is WE alone who get likened to “cops.” 😹

The irony of weaponizing that word against us is that it ignores the power imbalance between lesbians and the police AND the history of police violence against lesbians.

Every single time shit like this happens, lesbians get cast as the big, bad wolves of the LGBTQ+ community and everyone else gets framed as a victim, never allowed to cause harm to lesbians. 😐
