Hi Georgia, really enjoying the 25 for 25 but listening again on Sounds is difficult. They are expiring. Will there eventually be a box set? @MannGeorgia@BBCRadio3
Chances are someone in Wentworth Road Golders Green was listening to @NicolaiMedtner on @BBCRadio3 just now. Were you? He lived there @PetrocTrelawny told us. Fabulous piano quintet bursting with colour.
My personal criterion for the continued quality of @BBCFreeThinking when it moves to @BBCRadio4 is whether @ShahidhaBari chooses to work with it. Wait and see...
@London_Cycling in the latest magazine, the gpx link in your excellent Herts route is showing as "private" when you follow it to Komoot. Can you make it public, please.
@Jon_Cruddas Unbelievably prescient review in 2012 of Britannia Unchained and the cyclonic path of neo-liberalism through Toryism. Perhaps you do racing tips..? https://t.co/ZlfcDIluQY
Thanks @AnnetteKuhn7 for heads up on British Academy talk https://t.co/6IxD198Pba. Gone are the days when I could walk round the corner from work; so it will be YouTube.
Renewed etymological interest in the origins of complex words has raised questions about how frequently words may show convergent lines of development. Join us at our free lecture examining how these issues impact the historical dictionary. https://t.co/ojGueLEpxy
@alicehicklin idea: if you want to preserve paragraph breaks search for ^p ^p and replace with a non-alphabetic character first. Then zap the ^p's and replace the runic chars with ^p. Monty would have loved the this hack, eh @jmainpidd
If you spend a lot of time copying text from PDFs into Word like me, I hope this tip might be useful! If the PDF ends up broken up over lots of lines, there's no need to fix it manually. Just go to find and replace, type ^p into find, and one space into replace. Pics below :)
