@dave_mcpartlin There seems to be a problem in education if you try to discuss Covid as root of any trends or issues. I know that since we’d returned to the classroom we were firmly told that you can’t use Covid as an excuse even if mentioned. It seems to be the only sector it didn’t affect?

@engteacherabro2 I think there is a pattern here… I am walking away after a similar experience. Very top heavy in our academy trust. Wonder if it is the same for others? Middle leadership is being wiped out particularly in primary schools.

@ballater6 It’s a time of joy and happiness and it is such a sad time in education when you are told you can’t have Christmas plays or singing. There’s a balance but let children be children

@RogersHistory Mmm not my experience of the system. The number of children with significant needs being refused is shocking in the last three years. All children have the right to an education to prepare them for the future. How can we meet the needs with no funding? Frustrated

22 yrs ago today these beautiful girls were cruelly murdered. I remember it like yesterday. The whole country was united in grief when their bodies were found 2 wks later. I remember exactly what I was doing when I found out. RIP Holly and Jessica, you’ll never be forgotten ❤️😢
