@sarajcox Son’s 1st solo trip to buy a chicken from our local butcher a 3min walk from home. Took him a while to get back. When asked why, said he’d needed a wee so had called into the local pub between us and the butchers. Asked what he did with the chicken - balanced it on his shoes 🤢

@OldLondonW14 That’s quite odd… there are a couple of roads missing in what is now “Brackenbury Village”… no Carthew or Nasmyth Street either side of Cardross Street. Also Bradmore Park Road runs straight on from Cardross…??

@jowhiley You and Steve and the kids were the best friends Simon could have ever wished for. “Willy” and “Morty” - what an hilarious double act. As others have said, Simon was the funniest person I have ever known - so many wonderful memories. So very very sad that he’s not here anymore💔
