She knew her students were becoming disinterested, so she had to do something. She was perusing ways to do this on the STEM website and came across Flossville. While using it as a reward system, it made the students want to participate in it more.

In turn it made them enjoy doing more geometry inside and outside the classroom. She is being creative by finding a new way for the kids to learn and engage. She used the community of STEM to find the website. #302f23

I resonate with both. There are some things that I can “store in my mind” and there are some things that I cannot. I personally believe that for most people a little mixture of objectivist and constructivist will work for them. #302f23

TCK: Pros and cons using technology in the class work whether it be writing papers or group project.
TPK: Utilize websites that would pertain to the material.

CK: I am more knowledgeable about small animals then large animals, so I would teach them about small animals.
PK: creating lesson plans for the material that needs to be covered.

TK: I would use YouTube and Microsoft word in the classroom for teaching and participating.
PCK: I would make it a hands-on activity. A lot of people understand material better doing it vs just readying about it.

@pcmendoza04 It sounds like a lot of our end goals are teaching. I love being outdoors too, however not when it is 99 degrees outside. I am ready for it to be in the 80s.
