@Sadie_NC Meh 3 weeks ago your country was perpetrating the same madness you criticize. Of course, Canada needs to follow suit but don’t pretend this dick swinging country hasn’t been the biggest cause of conflict and turmoil all around the world.
@JessHoey55050 @ChrisBarber1975 Real question here, when Canadians wake up what can they even do? If everyone’s a puppet and the choices lead to the same administration then what?
@gregdemp71@TimHoustonNS It’s in our own self interest to secure our own borders and stop the production and trafficking of fentanyl. Period. I hope a true leader emerges from this crisis.
@Steveaaaaa@Uber@netflix Here is a clip of how the call for help now button doesn’t work. See how when on click it focuses and then does nothing? I even show how I click a different button and it goes to the next page. Then continue to mash the call for help now button and NOTHING. Fix this. Now.
@Steveaaaaa@Uber@netflix Imagine if that was your teen. If they fix their customer support and have actual safety features THAT WORK there could be some redemption… I rarely complain but this was just so horribly handled.
@Steveaaaaa@Uber@netflix But that’s obviously not the problem. They arrive at the destination. Silence since mention of his identity revealed. He now asks for his cash payment. She’s confused about why.. she thought it was through the app. He says she can’t tell uber because he’ll get deactivated.
@Steveaaaaa@Uber@netflix She tells him she found his name in app history. She’s elated she has proof. It shows HE cancelled the ride. She tells him.. he looks uneasy. She mashed the call for help button. It doesn’t work. She messages in the chats on the app. “Its cancelled, no charges were issued”
@Steveaaaaa@Uber@netflix The kid wants to go home. She wants to check her app history for the driver to try to understand what went wrong. He doesn’t want to give his name but also doesn’t try to bring her back to the airport where he picked her up. She has no choice in the middle of the highway still.
@Steveaaaaa@Uber@netflix He has to pick up his wife, he’s angry that he’ll be stuck in traffic. He’s upset that his other rider cancelled because the kid ‘took the wrong uber’. So he asks to take the toll route and that the kid will have to pay the extra toll cost. The kid is scared.
@Steveaaaaa@Uber@netflix Imagine you let your kids take take an uber. The driver cancels mid highway. Tells the kid it’s their fault for taking the wrong uber. Then asks for the kids address because he has to re-enter it. In her mind she thinks of course through uber.
@Steveaaaaa@Uber@netflix Also, this company is trying to promote a feature where you let your kids take an uber alone… I think it’s extremely concerning how they handled my situation.
@Steveaaaaa@Uber@netflix I’m less concerned about the payback or refund. It’s about trying to use the only form of contact to “call for help” while the ride is in progress. Conveniently for them, the button doesn’t do anything. I encourage whoever is using an uber to try it. I hope the team fixes it.
@Uber_Support@uber@netflix@Uber_Support
Good to know that the dm they sent said the same thing. Beware if you are unlucky and get forced into a situation while taking uber and the app claims safety and ability to ask for help. It’s a lie. Horrible.
@Uber@netflix So the app glitches and I’m out in an incredibly dangerous scenario with no support or help. I highly recommend you DO NOT let your teens or children use that new feature.
@Uber@netflix Uber is dangerous and support doesn’t listen. Tell me how a driver can stop on a highway, cancel my ride and pretend I got in the wrong car, wouldn’t tell me his name then forced me to e-transfer him after taking a toll route. I kept mashing the call for help button and nothing.
