Tribal families in Chhatarpur, MP are being driven to such absolute desperation that they are literally lying on funeral pyres and putting nooses around their necks to fight for their lives.

How can anyone call this "development" when it inflicts absolute "social death" on the indigenous people who have lived there for centuries? The Ken-Betwa project is swallowing their ancestral lands, homes, and livelihoods, while the administration shuffles blame and serves up nothing but cold, unfulfilled assurances. They were lied to in April, and they are still being ignored under that Barana River bridge today! No more fake surveys, no more broken promises, and no more bullying! They deserve fair compensation and proper rehabilitation NOW.

The sheer callousness of the government is sickening!
