The tragic incident at the @TheOfficialSBI Wadhwani branch in Beed district, Maharashtra, where the branch manager was attacked, is a grave crime and a direct threat to the safety and dignity of bank employees.
This brutal act underscores the urgent need for enhanced security measures and strict enforcement of laws to protect bank employees.
We request immediate cognizance of this incident and demand swift and appropriate action against the culprits. According to the IPC Section 332, assaulting a public servant is a punishable offense, with imprisonment up to three years or a fine, or both.
We also question the bank management and the union about their response to this incident.
FIR lodged but no arrest till now.

The banking sector is considered a "white-collar job," but a recent viral video has tarnished this image. In the video, a bank executive addresses employees as "bonded laborers."
"A bonded laborer is defined as someone who is compelled to work for another person due to debt or social and economic pressures, under conditions that are completely detrimental to them."
The extent to which people are going to appease management in the banking sector is not only deplorable but also alarming.
This situation is possible only when trade unions have surrendered to management.
Any mentally balanced person should understand that in the event of an unfortunate situation, a new face will take their place, but it will be these same "bonded laborers" who will come to their aid when needed.
It is time for the banking sector to reconsider its work culture and ensure respectful treatment of employees.

People may say digitalization don't need recruitment, But even today Our 80% customers are not tech friendly, and for any issues they hit the Branch.
So again Bankers have more work than earlier, Offline as well Online issues to resolve.
I know of several bankers who quit their govt job over the pressure mounted on them at workplace. Some tell me banks are the only institution facing tremendous pressure to implement central govt schemes. This video is of meeting of officials from Canara Bank. This kind of behaviour at display here is only going to aggravate the condition.
@Bankers_We@LokapatiS@canarabank I think this is not the first time he said something like this
He definitely has a reputation for saying Idiotic things like this that's why the main HERO decided to record this VC . He did a great job by sharing this video.
He should be terminated from Bank and criminal FIR should be lodged for धमकी
@canarabank
He is saying "Things would be different" Means He is threatening which is a criminal offence under IPC 506.
Thanks a lot @ZeeNews for covering the story of @canarabank news on video in which an official warned employees to come on sunday and also said "Bhaad Me Jaaye Family".
