@GabiST08 @WhiteHouse Yeah so they did. Apparently they did it with the same amount of bombs the U.S used. But they gave several warnings ahead of time so that people could vacate. So there were no casualties. It was done more as a statement and now there’s a ceasefire.

.@VP: "What the President is saying ... is if the Iranian people want to do something about their own leadership, that's up to the Iranian people. What the American national security interest here is very simple — it's to destroy the nuclear program. That's what we've done."

[54minator @nifemi807]

@The_x_Truth @RapidResponse47 I think it was the war between Israel and Iran that it’s referring to. From my understanding, the U.S only fired those missiles to prevent Iran from having nuclear weapons, not to join the war against Iran with Israel.

[54minator @nifemi807]

@rawsalerts Can someone please explain why preventing Iran from having nuclear bombs was bad. Please I don’t really watch the news so I’m just getting all my info today Isn’t it a good idea to prevent Iran. A known America hater and refuge to terrorists from having nukes probably a good idea

@RapidResponse47 @POTUS Grok is this true?

[54minator @nifemi807]

@SeeRacists @grok true?

Some audiobook recommendations:

The Story of Civilization by Durant
Iliad (Penguin Edition)
The Road to Serfdom by Hayek
American Caesar by Manchester
Masters of Doom by Kushner
The Wages of Destruction by Tooze
The Storm of Steel by Junger
The Guns of August by Tuchman
The Gallic Wars by Caesar
Twelve Against the Gods by Bolitho
Genghis Khan by Weatherford

The first one on the list will take a while to get through, but is very much worthwhile.

Admittedly, this is a list that appeals to those who think about Rome every day.

I hope someone makes an audiobook of The Encyclopedia of Military History by Dupuy and The Fifteen Decisive Battles of the World by Creasy.
