🇮🇹 Riccardo Patrese - 🇬🇧 Williams FW12C Renault V10

Qualified 5th overall

Patrese was running a fantastic 3rd overall when a stone burst the radiator of his Williams FW12C sending fluid all over his rear slick tyres.

What followed was a very large accident at Club Corner which he would have been approaching at around 150mph.

The Williams was completely destroyed but amazingly Patrese as seen is able to walk away.

Crazy when you see how big this was yet you hardly ever see it being shown.

Silverstone IMO was so much better in the past but clearly the safety aspect wasn’t so good.

@TGE_LDNM Totally agree, it should happen. My 55kg wife is 1 kg over luggage allowance and we’d have to pay, but a 120kg person with luggage under limit doesn’t pay a penny!!!! Not fair at all.
