@Adam_Creme Appalling! But not uncommon. It seems many unscrupulous restaurant owners expect their staff to be unpaid security staff these days as well. I hope she can find a job with a better establishment soon.
We can’t stand by while Saudi Arabia executes Mustafa Hashem al-Darwish, a teenage protestor. @DominicRaab please call on Saudi Arabia to save Mustafa’s life now.
Bit of a long read (I can't help myself!), but so many lovely people have asked me how I'm doing, where The Pig Guide is up to and - funnily enough! - who I actually AM that I thought the time was nigh.... 😃🐷
@TheAnimalDisco What do you mean ‘the cutlery and crockery don’t need to match’??? So I don’t need my place-setting ruler and straight edge either? #Whatstheworldcomingto
@TheBathMagazine@TheatreRBath I think @TheAnimalDisco is being way too kind! Felicity Kendal was average at best, and £80 for two tickets for only half a show was a joke. 1 hour 15 mins?? Shame on you @TheatreRBath ! It was 6th form school play standard. Not your usual performance.
Please stop it now @dominos#Bath! Every week more junk mail despite our very clear sign. Is a screwed-up leaflet shoved through the door really the only marketing idea you can think of?
“Lord, what fools these mortals be!”... if they don't keep an eye on our Twitter feed on Wednesday 1 May, when we shall be revealing details of our very special Midsummer Night's Dream party, held in a very special location...... 💮🌇🧚♀️🤴👸🔮
“I know a bank where the wild thyme blows, Where oxlips and the nodding violet grows, Quite over-canopied with luscious woodbine, With sweet musk-roses and with eglantine"... and I know that's where we'll be holding our Very Special Midsummer Night's Dream-themed Supper club....
Tonight is Reduce Reuse Recycle on @sewingbee Amidst the jollity of making clothes out of old curtains is a serious message. Our clothing consumption is out of control. In the UK around 100 MILLION KILOS of clothing is thrown away every year. This is madness and it has to end.
@bathlive Liverpool is also awash with students with massive new-build student blocks everywhere. Traffic is awful, parking is not free or easy! Liverpool 1 is goodbut there is no Milsom St or Walcot. Both cities have a lot to offer. We moved back to Bath from Liverpool with no regrets.
