Known as the Holmes Blue Book, this D&D set was a complete starter in one small book.
Characters creation, DM rules, spells and monsters, along with a complete practice dungeon.

JRR Tolkien’s letter from Aragorn, King of Gondor to Sam Gamgee, Mayor of the Shire, written in the Elvish script Tengwar, as part of an epilogue to LOTR which was never published. It makes me wonder how much lore of his world he kept to himself, never to see the light of day
