Day 2 of trying to get the big guns
@JamesGunn@kumailn@SethGreen@feliciaday
You’re all #MassEffect fans, because you know it's more than a game. Mass Effect means so much to millions. Please stand with the fans and developers and join us in this fight.
#SaveMassEffect 💙
Hey @JohnCena - we saw that Mass Effect signal you sent into the galaxy in 2024.
Now 275,000+ fans are fighting to make sure this universe still has a future.
One signal from you could reach a lot of people.
Could tou help us and join the fight to #SaveMassEffect

The petition is going to slow down eventually. That's normal. Eventually we will run out of people committed enough to put their name to paper.
But, as long as we keep pushing #SaveMassEffect, our campaign will continue.
Flood EA socials with Mass Effect hashtags. Share your stories and experiences about Mass Effect on Twitter. Support the upcoming Amazon series. Be loud, be proud, and be relentless.
The petition was only ever going to be one part of the campaign.
#SaveMassEffect Utter PR disaster for EA no matter which way this goes. They wanted the BioWare shutdown to be swept under the rug but achieved the opposite. They've gotten a lot of shit (often rightfully so) but I can see this ballooning into their worst ever controversy.
Hope. That's what we stand for. ❤️
The fight will be long, but we won't give up. We'll keep fighting, spreading the hashtag, and doing everything we can to #SaveMassEffect.
Huge thanks to @ExoticValkyrie for making this beautiful video for us! <3
HOLD THE LINE 🫡
Retweeting in case they hide my reply like some corpo bitches
The worst trick you've played this month is playing in the face of every N7 by canceling Mass Effect: Universe and canning all of BioWare. We want to #SaveMassEffect#MassEffectIsAlive#HoldTheLine!
Apparently @EA didn't like that we saw the leaked internal trailer for Mass Effect: Universe
So it would be a shame if we shared it far and wide.

Gameplay in the Mass Effect series was, and still is, a lot of fun.
With Mass Effect Universe, the intention was to give you more freedom in how you approached situations. That's why I make the comparison to Hitman.
Think back to the first time you arrive on Noveria in Mass Effect 1.
You need a pass to leave Port Hanshan and pursue Benezia. But how you get that pass is largely up to you. You can talk your way through problems, exploit the people and politics around you, find alternative solutions, or simply let your gun do the talking.
That philosophy was being pushed much further in Mass Effect Universe. You could play the space super spy - infiltrating, manipulating systems and quietly eliminating enemies.
.. Or if you loved traditional Mass Effect combat, you could kick down the front door and go guns blazing.
The point wasn't to take away the Mass Effect gameplay you loved. It was to give you more ways to finish missions. Your mission. Your approach. Your choice.

BioWare original co-founder Greg Zeschuk stated that the executives who shut down the studio “never made a game” and shed light on how detached from reality EA is regarding game design🚀
“There’s this weird belief that you can just kind of recreate great games with random people and AI. It doesn’t work.”

Zeschuck left BioWare after Mass Effect 3, and he’s been working entirely outside the video game industry the last few years.
