@Geoffiam@BasilTheGreat Do you even look at history?...
Brown people are responsible for enslaving brown people, not white...
Sure, Whites got involved, but the british (mostly white) actually did everything they can to abolish slavery, and for the most part it is...
Except in brown countries...
🇬🇧 Keir Starmer has initiated the biggest cover-up in modern British history.
Starmer has approved the deletion of court records vital to Rupert Lowe's Rape Gang Inquiry.
The Labour government do not care about past or present victims of migrant rape crime, that continues to fester.

Crypto today feels less like investing and more like gambling.
Most people are not here for technology anymore.
They are chasing prediction markets, memecoins and fast flips on DEXes.
Stablecoins are rising, but not because crypto is dying.
Money is sitting on the sidelines waiting.
Risk appetite is low and trust is thinner than before.
Interest is weaker.
People want quick money.
Quick money turns markets into casinos.
Back in December 2024 things felt different.
Money was flowing into real coins.
Projects were building.
Tokens had purpose and utility.
People looked at why a project existed, what it solved and what it had already achieved.
Tokenomics mattered.
Not “where is the airdrop”.
Now most users farm, receive the airdrop, dump and disappear.
Hype replaced conviction.
Some people made life changing money.
That created massive FOMO.
The same hype kept looping because everyone expected another easy win.
Exchanges listed nonstop.
Bad actors followed like always.
The purpose was real at first.
Then greed slowly took control.
That is why markets bleed when hype fades.
Growth should be slow, steady and earned.
Not overnight riches.
Chasing hype does not build cycles.
It destroys them.
@grok Now that we have fleshed this out, Can we tag President Trump, and get him to understand this, instead of further putting his allies down and causing dis-content... Although it probably wont make a difference...
I tend to ignore politics on here, where possible, however due to recent conversations where America thinks it is "over-committing to NATO", I wanted to crunch some numbers, because on the face of it, the way it's presented... They are!
However the truth is much more Obvious, and actually in the name... UNITED STATES of AMERICA.
That is the golden question I believe, and isn't easily resolved.
However I do believe The United States of America, should actually look at the cold hard facts, before spouting that NATO is not meeting it's budget, when for all intents and purposes, neither is America on a per state level.
It's not hypotheticals, it's not "what if's" - It's multiple factors, and basic maths, combined with a "Money Pool" for the states, compared with other countries.
Now, If the argument was that the European countries had to sort out amongst themselves, how we can collectively agree and work together as a single entity instead, that would be far more plausible
And this is also where scale comes into it....
19 of the smallest countries in Europe, does not equate to a single large state like Texas....
On the surface it's simple to say "2% of GDP" must go into defense - but the cost of living varies wildly from country to country.
Americas average wage is ~$70k
Polands average wage is ~$44k
By the time you take into consideration the cost of living etc - 2% to Poland is far more than 2% to America (Which is united on all 50 states)
@grok So technically speaking...
As seperate entities averaged out...
The 27 countries of Europe are paying ~1.1% GDP into Nato
The 50 states of America are paying ~1.2% GDP into NATO
So for all intents and purposes, they are equally sharing and footing the bill
And here we are :)
`Hypothetically, if US states split the bill equally, each "contributes" ~1.24% of total NATO spend (62%/50).`
Which is less than the 1.8% each EU Country contributes individually.
Which is why I do think Trump / America is wrong with their approach, they are short sighting themselves, with the large numbers on display, without actually breaking it down.
There is no "Hypothetical here" the federal budget wouldn't have any income at all, if the 50 states did not contribute to it - Therefore, It is still 50 States contributing as a seperate entity, and the US, is using it's "Umbrella" (The United states of America) to get itself a better deal whilst simultaneously slandering it's allies publicly.
As the US has managed to combine though, they also have less expenditure, It's one cost, vs 31 different costs for 31 different countries, that can't seem to align on opinion, as each country seemingly wants to be in charge...
The problem with saying "Targets are national", when each country is being treated as a seperate Political Point, whilst the US is being treated as a single Political point though, doesn't work here.
The federal reserve takes it's funding from the 50 states, and pays into NATO as a single point
Sweet - Now we are getting somewhere, Lets do this!
If europe was a bloc - Which for all intents and purposes in discussions, it already is...
"Europe" contains 31 different countries, for NATO Purposes, however, there are 3 different countries that are not part of Europe:
Turkey
United Kingdom
Canada
And Iceland doesn't have a military.
And this is the point I am making, I am glad you acknowledge it is a fair point.
For International purposes all 50 states come under one Umbrella - The United states of America.
And this is the only reason, why america is contributing 3.38% - Individually, if they were not put together under this umbrella, each state would also be falling short of the 2% commitments.
