@PIB_India Good move by CCPA, but ₹7 lakh is hardly a deterrent for large coaching institutes. For many, it’s just a few admissions’ worth of revenue. Repeat violations should invite stricter action, including suspension, license cancellation, or sealing of premises.

Public smoking in Ahmedabad is becoming a serious problem. Many people smoke openly without caring about others’ health and safety.

I respectfully request the government to enforce stricter rules on smoking in public places and create designated smoking zones.

Recently visited the Ahmedabad Flower Show. Parking charges for a 4-wheeler are ₹20 for up to 2 hours, yet ₹40 was collected in advance. To get the extra ₹20 back, one must return to the entry gate as exit is separate.

Requesting authorities to kindly look into this and charge extra only if parking exceeds 2 hours.
