WY: I'm not the type of person who leans on others or asks for help. I’ve always had this mindset of, 'Whatever happens, just throw yourself into it and grow from the struggle. So, I just packed up and moved to Seoul on a whim. Of course, living on my own brought a lot of expenses. Fortunately, using the money I had saved and an installment savings account I’d kept, I was able to handle the security deposit and initial expenses entirely by myself. With the mindset of, 'Earn as much as you can while you're young,' I ended up working non-stop, seven days a week. Because of my personality, I never wanted to call my parents and ask for help. So as I lived on my own, I kept telling myself I was fine. But to be honest, there were a lot of times when I felt lonely. There were moments when I just wanted someone to talk to. Before coming here, I thought I could get through everything on my own. But in reality.. I think I was just bottling all of those feelings up and enduring them. After moving into the Signal House, Yugyeong became someone who made me smile. I genuinely think she's so pure and adorable. Without even realizing it, I'd find myself smiling, and I caught myself imagining a happy future🥺

I welcome the ceasefire agreed by Cambodia and Thailand, which took effect at 12:00 (UTC+7). The decision to halt fighting and to hold forces in place reflects a shared recognition that restraint is required, above all in the interest of civilians.

The Joint Statement sets out practical and positive measures, including verification by the ASEAN Observer Team and direct communication between defence authorities. These provide a basis for stability, and I am hopeful that both sides will carry them out faithfully.

As Malaysia hands over the ASEAN Chair to the Philippines at midnight on 1 January 2026, we will support all efforts to ensure that these undertakings are honoured and that ASEAN’s prestige and credibility as a region of peace are preserved.
