You didn’t answer my question. Find fairness in today’s ncaa ecosystem. I’ll wait. Idk if I’d say it’s well known given players that participated last year were busted for gambling on sports as well. No suspension, no ban. You can’t blame sorsby for gaming an already broken system.
Did they file an injunction? If not then that is the fault of said athletes. Sorsby went the legal route and a court agreed with him. Is it fair that players get paid now but those like Manziel missed out on millions and were punished for selling autographs? Nothing about college sports is fair.
Domestic violence…. crickets.
Gun violence… crickets
Drug dealers… crickets
Accomplice in a murder… crickets
Reckless driving… crickets.
Dude checks himself into rehab for a gambling addiction pushed by every TV network… “CFB IS DEAD FUCK TEXAS TECH”
@Ashncoll No accountability needed given the law supports sorsby and tech. On the other hand, the law did not support the countless uga players that are criminals yet receive no suspension. So who’s avoiding accountability again?
@Stuckio_513@PeteThamel Right cause the big 10 is so pure with Michigan constantly cheating and coaches beating women. Don’t let me mention penn states coaches raping and assaulting people. But yeah, gambling on foreign sports is the issue.
@40AcresBuilt@Regan_Pearson@mlhagood What does sorsbys case have to do with the integrity of the game? 99% of his bets weren’t on college sports and the few that were took place when he was a redshirt that didn’t even travel with the team. So actually it’s an excellent comparison.
The least surprising news of all time is that Texas Tech is vilified because of a judge’s ruling in the Sorsby case.
The only issue is Texas Tech did not step one toe out of line in the entire process.
@RainsBand@UCBarstool They knew he was gambling and never addressed it. No rehab, no suspension, just hid it for the hope of one good season in the last 50 years. So yes, it’s on Cincinnati for allowing it to unfold for years.
