🚨 Why Iran Stands Alone Against Israel and the U.S. While Other Muslim States Align with Washington
Before 1979, Iran under Mohammad Reza Pahlavi was actually a close U.S. ally and had quiet relations with Israel.
Everything changed after the Islamic Revolution led by Ruhollah Khomeini.
The new regime defined itself on three pillars:
•Opposition to Western domination
•Rejection of Israel’s legitimacy
•Governance based on Shia Islamic political theology
So hostility toward the U.S. and Israel became part of the state identity, not just foreign policy.
✅ Religious Identity:-
Iran is the largest Shia Muslim-majority nation in the Middle East, whereas most Arab countries are predominantly Sunni Muslim.
The Sunni–Shia split began in 632 CE after Prophet Muhammad’s death — it was originally about who should lead the Muslim community.
•Sunnis believed leadership should go to the most capable companion (Abu Bakr).
•Shias believed leadership belonged to the Prophet’s family, specifically Ali.
Over centuries, this political disagreement became theological.
Today:
•~85–90% of Muslims globally are Sunni
•~10–15% are Shia
•Iran is ~90–95% Shia
•Most Arab states (Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Jordan, etc.) are Sunni-majority
✅ What Makes Shia Political Thought Different?
Shia Islam has a concept absent in Sunni theology:
👉 The Hidden Imam
Twelver Shias believe the 12th Imam disappeared and will return as Mahdi.
This created a political problem:
Who rules in the absence of the Imam?
For centuries, Shia scholars avoided direct political rule — they guided society morally but did not govern.
That changed in 1979.
✅ Velayat-e Faqih – The Radical Shift
After the revolution, Ruhollah Khomeini introduced the doctrine of:
Velayat-e Faqih (Guardianship of the Islamic Jurist)
His argument:
Since the Imam is absent, a senior Shia jurist must govern to ensure Islamic justice.
This created:
•A Supreme Leader
•Clerical oversight over elected institutions
•A state built explicitly on Shia jurisprudence
This model is unique in the Muslim world.
No Sunni-majority state has an equivalent clerical supremacy system.
✅ Why This Creates Regional Tension
Now we move from theology to geopolitics.
Because Iran’s state is built on Shia political theology:
•It sees itself as protector of Shia communities
•It supports Shia movements in Iraq, Lebanon, Yemen
•It frames politics as resistance against injustice and “oppression”
Sunni monarchies — especially Saudi Arabia — see this as:
•A challenge to their legitimacy
•A threat to Sunni dominance
•A potential source of internal unrest (since they have Shia minorities)
So what looks like “sectarian conflict” is actually:
Religious identity + political legitimacy + power competition
✅ Persian vs Arab Identity Layer
There’s also a civilizational factor.
Iran is:
•Persian (non-Arab)
•Has its own language (Farsi)
•Has imperial history older than Islam
Most Middle Eastern states are Arab.
So Iran is different in:
•Ethnicity
•Language
•Historical memory
•Religious orientation
This compounds the sense of separateness.
✅ Why Most Muslim States Don’t Confront the U.S.
This is not mainly about religion — it’s about regime survival.
🇸🇦 Saudi Arabia
•Sunni monarchy
•Security partnership with U.S.
•Oil–security bargain since 1945
•Prioritizes regime stability over ideological confrontation
🇯🇴 Jordan
•Small, resource-poor state
•Depends heavily on U.S. aid
•Seeks stability
🇪🇬 Egypt
•After Camp David (1978), aligned strategically with U.S.
•Receives significant military aid
These states are not necessarily ideologically pro-Israel —
they are strategically aligned with Washington for survival and economic stability.
Iran also competes with Sunni powers for regional leadership.
For example:
•Saudi Arabia sees itself as leader of Sunni Islam.
•Iran positions itself as leader of “resistance.”
Iran : We are under Attack by the US and Israel, Our Brother Pakistan will save us
Bahrain : We are under Attack by Iran, Our Brother Pakistan will save us
Saudi Arabia : We are under Attack by Iran, Our Nuclear Power Pakistan will save us, We have a Defence Pact!!
Meanwhile Pakistan: Humari team ko 65 Runs se Jeetna hai, Agha Ji aaj 250 run bana do.. 28 wala match chaiye Agha Ji!!

Just hear me out here: 🏏
Seeing the wicket first and then the scores and then the result in Kolkata, it can only be put down to batters modern day techniques.
Batters grow up now to hit sixes and play switch-hits. They don’t grow up to build an innings and learn the art of survival.
This is fact, as I know what’s being taught and I’m a part of many player discussions.
The player is not to blame at all as it is exactly where the modern day game is. The priority right now in the game isn’t about survival or the art of playing a spinning ball. The game of cricket is now about bright lights, loud music and a financial return for cricket boards, private equity and private ownership.
The elephant in the room is it won’t be mentioned cos you just can’t talk about money. But, I will, as it is real.
I wish more power to the players to make as much $$$$ as they can, whilst they can.
You’re just doing what decision makers are doing but you’re just not allowed to talk about it!
Keep hitting sixes and switch-hits and growing your bank accounts, dudes!

The government plans to amend the Chartered Accountants Act, 1949, to ease advertising restrictions on CAs and their firms, allowing them to better showcase services and compete globally.
ICAI will soon release draft rules revising its Code of Ethics and advertisement guidelines.
The move aims to help Indian firms scale up, consolidate, and rival global giants like Deloitte, EY, KPMG, and PwC in the $240 billion global consulting market.
In traditional Taxation & Audit practice, software has become the real backbone of compliance. Over the past few years, I’ve explored and tested multiple Softwares, taken demos, and experimented hands-on before finally shifting to a select few.
Now, after 2–4 years of actual usage across all these tools, I can confidently share my experience and choices.
The best part? Every shift has felt like a drastic upgrade from what I was using earlier.
GST Returns (with 9 & 9C):
👉 SCIGST – Absolute gem. Same god-level features as SPEQTA, but SCIGST has a killer edge: it sends GSTR-2B directly to the client in just one click. ( have seen few others, But dint like) . Even SciGST for GSTR9&9C - No json error ever and even integration of 9 with 9C is just fabulous . Best support always.
ITR Filing:
👉 GENIT BY GENIUS – Undisputed KING . The AIS/TIS download + direct transfer to Income Heads is unmatched. Also handles share market transactions brilliantly. (Computax and EasyOffice is also equally having same feature but I found Genius more Seamless, updates quickly and support is good, And other software like Kitret, Winman, – not even close as very old in features. )(sorry winman lovers)
TAX AUDIT REPORT (TAR): 3CD
👉 COMPUBAL by COMPUTAX– Stands out for its Excel import features for 3CD clauses and blazing speed. The UI is far ahead of the rest. Plus, Clause 44 gets done directly with Tally import connector – a huge time saver. (Didn’t like Genius and Winman much in demo .)
TDS:
👉 Been using SaralTDS for years. Honestly, all TDS softwares are more or less the same – no major difference. So you can couple this module, you use for ITR or TAR ( Sad to hear those using NSDL utility )
FINANCIAL STATEMENTS:
👉 BLACK HORSE EXCEL TOOL is the really ahead. Other solutions in market are just half baked . Blackhorse 's integration from Tally to the new NCE format is god-level. Transforms Tally trial balance into the required format seamlessly - in single click- and after few tagging/Grouping as per ICAI GN – makes life super easy for accountants to prepare Financial Statements.
PS- nothing is for promotion- I genuinely loving above softwares and genuinely feel to help other professionals in deciding the same .

If the current geopolitical situation is not enough warning for India to take its science and deep ecosystem very seriously, nothing will ever be.
This is no wake-up call. This is existential. We live in a world where every aspect of our lives us shaped by technology and we are at the brink of perhaps the biggest tech revolution of all time in AI.
It is time to embrace science & curiosity driven research, build world class research infrastructure, attract top notch Indian scientists back to country and celebrate true “discover in India” and “Invent in India”. 21st century demands nothing less. Viksit Bharat not possible without this.
