The service Is much needed, so good step to offer this option. But the pricing is extremely high. Will be difficult to find too many people in India willing to pay 71k per person for an expedited appointment

Germany removes requirement for transit visa. Indian nationals no longer require transit visa when transiting visa Germany

Big use case of travelling to London on Lufthansa with a stopover in Germany will now be possible for scores of Indian travellers.

Great step in the right direction, also a testament to deepening relations between India & Germany. Chancellor Merz had announced this in his visit to India in January earlier this year. Finally the official notification is out today.

Yes, the rate limiting issue has now been constantly coming up. Even if you just try to see OFC appointments and change the VAC 2-3 times, they’re rate limiting you. The only solution right now is to try scheduling 3-4 times in a day and limiting VAC search to 2-3 consulates. Will update if we observe any changes.

Further changes to the US Visa Scheduling site are here. From today morning, you can see a timer that tells you how much longer to go before you can login. Post login, the experience is much better as they are now actively regulating the number of concurrent visitors on the scheduling platform.
It's important to just have patience here, timer is not the most accurate at the moment. Given its day 1, the systems are still adapting & will probably take a week or more to settle down.
As you can see from the attached screenshots, it went down by almost 3 hours in just about 3 minutes of waiting.
It's a step in the right direction, helps in visa applicants to know exactly how much time they need to wait.

@krishnan504 Hey, multiple people have been facing the same issue, again looks like a teething error. What has worked for us (but not always) is waiting for about 30 seconds after the page loads, and then pressing the captcha validation & login button

Big update. So finally the US Visa Scheduling website is up again. Quite patchy right now as you have to wait for 15-20 minutes in the waiting room every time & be ready to get logged out 2-3 times while booking slots.
But but but, you can get the slots if you have patience. We got for 4 of our clients (2 groups of 2 each) despite all these challenges.
Seems that they are putting in patches to prevent bots from accessing <see the screenshot of human verification step>, something which wasn't there or was not implemented with this much vigour. This is also the probable reason why the website had been facing glitches over the last 2 weeks.
This step is excellent news for visa applicants.
Will keep the updates coming on when the site speeds up faster & these teething issues are resolved.

@RakshitSomani They are a monopoly &amp; behave exactly like one. Embassies categorically write in their guidelines that visa slots are not sold but this premium lounge is a mockery of that rule. They can "accommodate" on the same day if you pay through your nose. Do write an email to the embassy.

Finally US Travel Docs have put out an official notice, on the technical issues on US Visa Scheduling site. We at @myvisapal been struggling for the last 4 days to even get the website to load, forget about logging in & scheduling.
