Travel is a nightmare because of these two bottlenecks and there is no solution in sight. It takes on an average 20-25 mins (40+ mins on bad days) to cover this stretch both Mumbai & Thane bound. Lacs of vehicles pass the stretch daily. (3/4)

Then you have the Thane railway overbridge which is yet to be widened - this was first proposed 13 years ago! Even if they start the widening work they have no alternate routes till the work gets completed which is estimated to be about 2 years!! (2/4)

Mulund EEH toll has been a mess always and it gets messier during monsoons.. You have potholes the size of craters both directions. Aren't a part of toll proceeds allocated for road maintenance??! (1/4)
