@refsupportuk So if managers/players/coaches didn’t abuse younger referees maybe they would have a liner that “could keep up with play” so while they carry on abusing no younger referees will come along so they only have themselves to blame!

@TheRefereeForum Most referees who want to progress have to make a decision at an early age which path to go down! It takes years and years to become elite as a referee yet u can play for England while still at school!

@refsupportuk Exactly! The cfa expect referees to remain professional yet managers/players can use social media for what they want! Hoping things will change in the very near future cfa should be picking up on it and dealing with it the right way not ignoring it!

@refsupportuk why is it that clubs name officials totally slate them and nothing is done?Yet if a referee named every player, manager, coach or club they would be in a lotof trouble?How is that ok?To dirty the name of an offical because they lost or didn’t agree with a decision!

@refsupportuk @SteveBryce8 My son was the referee the first time he’s ever wanted to take a break to think things over! I have noticed the abuse is going from bad to worse I don’t know who is to blame but they need to find that out before there are no referees left for the good teams/coaches

@MikeMcKenna_ @refsupportuk Couldn’t agree more!!! My son has been a ref since 14 he’s now nearly 19 and the abuse is getting worse! Today’s manager red carded, game abandoned , parents squaring up to him …today for the first time he’s debating if to carry on! Thank for he has lots of support around him
