@PMOIndia@narendramodi Dear Prime Minister @narendramodi. With due regards, we need data transparency to guide our clinical decision making and health care planning. We need to question people who advised Govt to export 60% of its vaccines. We need to secure our homes, first. No one else can.
@PMOIndia@narendramodi Dear Prime Minister. @narendramodi With due regards, we need to vaccinate many more, this aint enough. We need to teach Evidence based Medicine to young doctors. We need to set up CDC lndia to monitor pandemics. We need to increase health care budgets and invest in R&D.
@AnantBhan EBM- hmm,i dont think it exists in India. I would love to teach EBM though to young doctors. Just wrapping up teaching residents and fellows here. May save a few lives in the next pandemic.
@_TatTvamAsi@NatashaFatah @Nikkipantpai Dear Sanatan_Ram..@_TatTvamAsi. Uff Bias!!! Reporting bias for sure. Three things in UP allowed the virus to spread uncontrollably. 1. Panchayat Elections, 2. Migrant return from Maharashtra, 3. Kumbh Mela. Yes- philosophy- TatTvamAsi- thou art that! it rings so true in Corona.
Chief minister Yogi Adityanath has sent out a clear message to the state’s hospitals: keep your mouth shut about any oxygen crisis or face action.

@RanaAyyub If officers are being asked to not report data, and labs have been asked to stop testing, then, you can imagine whats going on. You can easily multiply reported deaths by a factor of 5, and reported cases by a factor of 5. You will still be under counting.
@nytimes Not sure its just 312,731. In 4 cities of UP, 30-50% of households have corona. Assume a population of 30 lacs/city, a min 10% positivity translates to 1,200,000 alone. Multiply that by 5-10 cities, we are looking at a bigger number.
How do you let a pandemic rage in India? Preparedness recipe 101: a) host large gatherings, b) call for elections for precious votes (not lives), c) decrease investment in health care, essential medications, oxygen, d) fudge data on case fatality, e) stop labs from testing!
Senior surgeon Dr JK Mishra, 85, who served in a hospital in Prayagraj for 50 years could not get a ventilator in the same hospital, and died in front of his wife 80 year old Dr Rama Mishra, herself Covid infected ☹☹

@FarOutAkhtar@SerumInstIndia Absolutely- i agree with you @FarOutAkhtar . Please use your power and privilege. Please ask this institute @SerumInstIndia to give it to the rural power for free. They cant afford a 600Rs vaccine. There is no time to waste in a pandemic. Vaccines should be free!!!
After saying that you were making profit even at 150/vaccine, we will now be asked to pay the most of any country for it. Please explain why @SerumInstIndia
