@searlo54@hasumpstuffedup It seems to me that the only applicable rule could be 18.13(d), which just states you can't 'engage in time wasting'. The TV commentators keep saying it's against the letter of the law, but it's entirely subjective whether time wasting occurred.
@280560_15 @Justalurke@SwannMarcus89 And you were wrong based on Australian standards, too. 1 regular strength beer (bottle or can) is 1.4 standard drinks. 4 or 5 is between 5.6 and 7 standard drinks.
@sparikian@binghach@GeorgieHeath27@WCricketChat The bowler only receives a warning if the umpire believes the delivery is dangerous. They changed the law back a few years ago. See law 41.7.3: https://t.co/8qlvBMpl7c
@shambolicgirl@pftravers77@peggymel2001 Court decisions take time to be handed down. This one hasn't been yet. It's coming. For a trial that went so long, this delay in judgement isn't unusual. The wheels of justice turn slowly.
@jackt_1997@ThatsSoVillage Never agree to delay the start! If an opposition chooses to bat because they've only got 7, my life's ambition becomes taking 6 wickets before the rest show up
