A highly important open question about AIs has been whether they can actually discover new things.
Today, a new Nature paper has shown that LLMs can! A model "discovered new solutions for the cap set problem, a longstanding open problem in mathematics" https://t.co/il9wRfGTqe
@BarclaysUKHelp @the_spad Same issue here. App was working fine until an update. I've reported it directly to the helpline it advises, and after about 4 weeks, just got an update that "the developers can't find any issue". The app itself should log the exact error reason and make it available to devs.

I do find it a bit amusing all these recent comments about how Google search is going to be replaced by gpt chat, as if none of this is known to Google
Imagine an AI model that's 3x larger and more powerful than GPT3 aka ChatGPT
Google already built that in April, called PaLM, on their own TPU hardware competing with NVIDIA. People think ChatGPT will replace Google but they basically invented transformers in '17 (the T in GPT)
There are tons of blogs by exceptional CTOs/engineers you probably have not heard of. They are super nerdy and beautiful.
Here are 20 you should be reading:
